Depending on manufacturing requirements, the Milk Fermentation System can be semi-automatic or fully automatic. It works by heating the milk to a predetermined temperature, then adding a bacterial culture (starter). After the milk is inoculated, it is maintained at a consistent fermentation temperature inside an insulated tank for a predetermined amount of time. The system uses steam or electric heating to maintain this temperature, which makes sure optimal bacterial growth and acidification. After fermentation is finished, the curd or yogurt is cooled and released for additional processing or packaging.
